Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, licensed Medical Spa Laser Nurse (RN) to join our team. This is a full-time, in-person role ideal for a nurse who is passionate about aesthetics, results-driven care, and building long-term patient relationships.
This position blends clinical expertise, patient consultation, and a strong aesthetic eye. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality treatments while guiding patients through a comprehensive aesthetic journey.
Schedule:
This role is structured as a 40-hour workweek, typically 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours based on patient demand. Schedules are adjusted accordingly to ensure total weekly hours do not exceed 40.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient goals, determine candidacy, and develop customized treatment plans
- Perform advanced non-invasive treatments including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, vascular and pigment treatments, RF microneedling, SkinPen, HydraFacials, and dermaplaning
- Deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality outcomes aligned with practice standards
- Educate patients on pre- and post-care, treatment expectations, and long-term skincare regimens
- Maintain detailed, compliant EMR documentation (Nextech preferred), including consents, treatment notes, and photography
- Ensure all treatment rooms, equipment, and protocols meet strict safety and infection control standards
Patient Experience & Practice Growth
- Own the patient experience from consultation through follow-up, ensuring a high touch, luxury experience
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships to support retention and long-term treatment plans
- Confidently recommend treatments and skincare to support optimal outcomes
- Collaborate closely with MDs, APRN injector, and MedSpa leadership on comprehensive treatment planning
Team Collaboration & Brand Contribution
- Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute ideas for patient education, promotions, and overall practice growth
- Participate in social media content as needed (supportive role; not a primary responsibility)
- Stay current on aesthetic trends, technologies, and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Active Connecticut RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 1–2+ years of RN experience (aesthetics, dermatology, or plastics preferred but not required)
- Experience with energy-based devices is a plus; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong consultation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and clinical judgment
- Experience with EMR systems (Nextech preferred)

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary: From $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Tiered commission structure with strong earning potential (typical range $85,000– $110,000+ based on performance)
